Four Corners Guides and Steve and Lizzy in particular are amazing. I’ve taken three courses with them: a 1-Day Intro to Packrafting in 2021 on the Animas River; a 3-Day Bikerafting course between Mancos and Dolores in 2023; and 1-Day Intermediate Packrafting course on the Animas in 2023. In each course, I was thoroughly impressed. I learned a lot in a relatively short amount of time and had so much fun. The courses are well run. And they’ll take you to some of the most stunning areas of the Southwest. If you’re willing, Steve will definitely help you push your boundaries to try new and scary-to-you things in a safe and controlled environment. If you’re not willing to push your boundaries too much, he still helps you learn and grow. I cannot recommend Four Corners Guides highly enough.
