LEVEL 1 FOUNDATION COURSES

These basic courses will give you the confidence to navigate moderate rivers safely and to take care of your equipment. Practice the foundational paddle strokes you need to go where you want to go on the river. And learn important river reading skills, how to do wet re-entries and use eddies.

LEVEL 2 ESSENTIALS COURSES

Build on your Foundations Course skills by learning more advanced paddle strokes. Master surfing, ferrying and controlling how you descent rapids. Plus catch eddies like a boss! We’ll dive further into swiftwater rescue and safety skills and hone the techniques you learned in Level 1. 

LEVEL 1 & 2 EXPEDITION COURSES

Known for clear flowing water, waterfalls & remote hiking, Dark Canyon forms at the Western Flank of the Blue Mountains. Our hike takes us through the lower section to the Colorado River and to Glen Canyon NP. Sleep under dark skies and learn skills to explore the backcountry safely.
