Spend two days learning a wide variety of packrafting and rescue skills on the Animas River. This is NOT a swiftwater rescue course, but some basic rescue techniques will be covered. Packrafting or river kayaking experience required. Reasonable upper body fitness and stamina required as you’ll be packrafting 25-35 miles. Basic backcountry skills are necessary. Can you cook your own food and set up your own tent?
