Lizzy and Steve provided insightful commentary along the way about the history of the area, birds and plants.”\n							\n														Lauren Beach\n																						Jeweler\nthere are still blank spots on the map\nthis is david Stokes’s group’s private tour\n\n																		Ute Mountain Ute Tribal park Trip Overview\n					\nFour Corners Guides has the exclusive permit to take bikepacking trips into the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Park from our base camp, Scullbinder Ranch, which lies on the border of the Tribal Park.\nOur long-weekend, 50+-mile journey begins at Scullbinder Ranch at 8a.m. on day 1. Once packed and ready to go, you’ll ride down to one of two camps, leave your gear, get back on your bikes and explore nearby Ancient Puebloan sites. The sites you explore and how far you ride/hike will depend on the groups’ desires and ability levels. \nDay 2: You’ll spend the day riding bicycles and exploring more ancient sites. At the end of the day, we’ll pack up and move up-canyon a few miles to Cowboy Camp.\nOn day 3, we explore ancient sites above camp. We do have 6 sets of bike bags we loan out if needed, at no cost.\n\n																		Instructors\n					\nSteve Fassbinder\nSteve, aka “Doom,” is one of the country’s first Level 4 American Canoe Association Packraft Instructors. And he is a certified International Rescue 3 Whitewater Rescue Technician Professional (WRT-PRO) and IRF Whitewater Packraft Guide. Steve is also certified in Advanced Swiftwater Safety and Wilderness First Responder. An early adopter of packrafting, he has guided or instructed bike-packrafting to kids and adults for over a decade. And he has done remote packrafting expeditions around the world for over a dozen years.\n\n																		Prerequisites\n					\nYou must know how to ride a bicycle and be comfortable riding a loaded bike 30+ miles a day.
