Scullbinder Ranch from Weber Mountain

The Ranch

Scullbinder Ranch lies on a stunning and remote 35 acres at the tip of Weber Mountain, in Mancos, Colo., along the Mancos River. The Ranch borders extensive BLM lands to the east and north, Mesa Verde National Park to the west and the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Park to the south. A migratory route, birds, humans, and animals have utilized this landscape for centuries. You'll find pottery from the Ancestral Puebloans (please leave it where you find it!), along with rubbish left by a Mormon rancher, his two wives, and 20 children! The one thing you won't see are other people! Wifi is very limited and will only be available for emergencies starting spring. There will be no Wifi in 2019.

Coming late Spring 2020

We are breaking ground this September for our barn, which will be home to our two-room bathhouse, and all our gear and supplies for the business and the grounds. The upstairs will have a rustic, but beautiful kitchen, a large community space with a wood burning stove and hangout area, plus a screened in deck that overlooks the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Park. We will have a temporary bathhouse set up this fall and early spring for all guests. Sauna to come fall 2020.
